Join other young adults for a hands-on experience of Ignatian discernment by integrating daily prayer, discernment of spirits, spiritual direction, spiritual conversation, and practicing key steps of discerning God’s will. We highly recommend bringing a key decision or something you’re wrestling with that you feel called to explore on this retreat.

This five-week retreat experience is for people who pray regularly and are familiar with Ignatian spirituality (e.g. those who have attended a Silent Retreat, Veritas, or the First Spiritual Exercises). Participants need an openness to truly listen, a willingness to practice personal prayer (5 times for 30’) during the week, a receptivity to share and support others along the way, and a readiness to meet with a spiritual director.  The experience is guided by Fr. Tri Dinh SJ, the Christus Ministries Team, and other Ignatian partners.  

How:

  1. Six online gatherings using Zoom with a guided prayer, spiritual conversation, and contemplative listening in a small group with the same five people.

  2. Participants pray 5 times for approximately 30 minutes during the week on their own using prepared resources.

  3. Two optional spiritual direction sessions are offered per person throughout the program

  2. Pray & reflect for 30 minutes 5 times per week.

  3. Please have a journal available for this retreat.

  4. Have/Create a Zoom account & download the Zoom app using the SAME name & Zoom email address submitted in your registration form.*

* For security purposes, participants’ Zoom account (name & email address) MUST match their registration information.

Prayer Space:

  1. Set up a quiet prayer space (journal, pen, candle, & prayer item).

  2. Inform those staying with you of the times you will gather online.

  3. Disengage, as best as you can, from phones, food, or anything else that distracts you from being present. *

  4. During each gathering, please MUTE yourself unless it is your turn to share. *

Cancellations: Cancellations prior to 3/11 will receive a refund minus the $50 deposit. For PayPal transactions, a PayPal processing fee will be deducted from the entire refund. After 3/11 no refund is available.
